This ventral view clearly shows the structure of the large ventral sucker, and its subdivision into numerous loculi. The mouth and pharynx are clearly visible at the anterior (top left of photo) end of the worm. The intestine has a thick wall with a small, clear lumen visible within. Some eggs can be seen in the uterus just above the intestine. The rest of the reproductive tract is obscured.
