textbook is wonderfully engaging (copies will be on reserve)
some reading required (will be listed on lecture outlines & web)
only need to know
terms from lectures & lab guide

6) EXAMS / MARKS:
two lecture exams: midterm (20%), final (35% cumulative)
exam format: 50% multiple choice, 50% terms & short answer
lab quizzes (three at 5% each) and lab final (20%)
annotated bibliography (see lab guide for full details; 10%)
NO deferred midterm exams (make based on remaining exams)
