The Greenhouse Complex consists of 23 greenhouses located on the 6th floor of Biological Sciences Building. This facility includes all standard and specialized double-glazed greenhouses ranging in size from 7 to 21 square meters with a permanent plant collection of approximately 1,100 species. The greenhouses face south to utilize direct natural sunlight. Supplimental lighting is available in winter. Climatic controller allows the greenhouse to accommodate plants from the Tropical Rain Forest to the Canadian thundra.
