2000 Deferred examinations

green-button.jpg (762 bytes) Mid-Terms:

There will be no deferred examinations for students who miss a mid-term examination.   A student who has missed a mid-term examination because of illness, domestic affliction, or some other compelling reason must provide appropriate documentation and request that the weight of that examination be carried over to the final exam.

green-button.jpg (762 bytes) Final Examination:

A student who has missed a final examination because of illness or domestic afflication, or who is obliged to be absent from a final examination for some other compelling reason (including religous convictions) may apply for a deferred examination.   To do this, students must got to their own Faculty Office with a medical statement from University Health Services (and Doctor's note), stautory declaration, or other appropriate documentation.

The student should contact the instructor 48 hours prior to the defererd exam to confirm the date, time and location in case there are any last minute changes.   Anyone with a valid excuse for missing the scheduled deferral date should contact the instructor and will have to re-apply for the regular deferred examination period in mid-July.  For complete information on examinations, please consult pages 66-69 of the 199-200 calendar.

The date for the deferred final examination in Biology 381 is Tuesday May 2, 2000, 9:00 AM.
