What is it?

The goal of this program is to provide students with a solid scientific background in the field of ecology, to introduce them to some useful tools that they can use in their careers (e.g. statistics, sampling methodology, GIS) and to allow them to explore applied aspects of the scientific theory that they have learned. The program is built on set of core required courses and a number of options. Hence, students can tailor their program to suit their interests and needs. We have developed two "streams" within the program, Freshwater Biology and Conservation and Wildlife Biology, for students with major interests in these areas.
