The Parasitology Section met May 16-20, 2011 in conjunction with the
annual meeting of the Canadian Society of Zoologists at the University of Ottawa. The theme of the Parasitology Section
Symposium, organized by Todd Smith, was "Comparative aquatic parasitology and immunology / Parasitologie et Immunologie Aquatiques
Comparatives".
The speakers were:
- Brian DIxon (Waterloo): "Immune responses to pathogens and parasites in ectothermic vertebrates /
