Life Cycle

The parasitic species are primarily extracellular, direct life cycle parasites transmitted by ingestion of water contaminated by cysts.

Morphology

Its members possess pseudopodia for locomotion. Flagella are restricted to developmental stages. There is just a single type of nucleus.
