This slender female worm, about 20 mm long by 0.25 mm wide, is situated with its anterior at the upper left of the photo. Just behind the anterior end, the dark, blood-filled intestine branches into two ceca, which reunite just posterior to the elongate, red ovary. The reunited cecum continues to the posterior end of the body, flanked by lateral bands of red vitellaria.
