Mature proglottids are those in which the reproductive structures are now functional. In this one, the genital pore is prominent on the margin, and numerous testes are visible between the longitudinal excretory canals. The bilobed ovary is fully developed, and the compact vitellarium can be seen at the posterior margin of the proglottid.
