T danilewskyi agglutinated trophozoites  Some host immune responses cause agglutination, or sticking together, of the trophozoites. Although this agglutination may not kill the trypanosomes directly, it can hinder growth and multiplication, and trypanosomes at the center of the mass may die from nutrient deprivation. Large clumps of parasites may also be cleared in the kidneys.  Windows media download
