    Ongoing research.

I am Professor Emeritus and I maintain an office (Z 1006) in the Biological Sciences Bldg. for my research. In addition to working on various taxonomic problems, I am heavily involved in three long-term projects as follows. 1). I chair an International Committee on North American Fish Names (the 6 th edition was published by the American Fisheries Society in 2004 and the next edition will be for 2010). 2). I am doing fish specimen research and literature synthesis to continue with revisions of my “Fishes of the World”—note above, the 4 th edition is out. 3). I hope to revise The Fishes of Alberta.
