The Advanced Microscopy Facility (AMF) is a centralized facility which provides research services for light (fluorescent, DIC, and bright field) as well as transmission and scanning electron microscopy.  Histology equipment and services are also available. The AMF serves a wide range of faculty and graduate students at the University of Alberta. It is a teaching resource facility for graduate and undergraduate courses. A variety of sample preparation equipment is available as well as assistance with preparation techniques and the operation of complex instruments and software.
