B418 is located on the 4th floor of the Botany wing in the BioSci building.

Equipment supplied by ACCRU.

Enter 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. M-F (ONEcard access after hours automatic for all grad students).

Log on to the computers using your usual BIO-SCI LabID and Password.

Work off the local hard drive but be sure to BACK UP your files every day!

B418 is reserved for Zoology 352 Wednesday afternoons in fall semester, otherwise first-come-first-served.

  • 5 ASUS PCs (2 monitors, DVD drive, network, USB) with MS Windows 7 Professional - with ArcGIS version 10.2.2
  • 2 DELL PCs (1 monitor, DVD drive, network, USB) with MS Windows 7 Professional - with ArcGIS version 10.1 (to run GME)
  • Flatbed scanner next door in DiTRL (B420)
  • ArcGIS (Advanced/ArcInfo) 10.x (and extensions: Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst, Geostatistical Analyst, Network Analyst, and others)
  • ENVI 4.8
  • Safe Software FME 2012
  • QGIS, FragStats, Python, R Statistics, GME, Microsoft Office 2010
  • With advance notice, we can install specialized free software that you require for your spatial research
