Biological Survey of Canada

The Biological Survey of Canada (BSC) is a not-for-profit organization that helps to coordinate scientific research among specialists on the Canadian fauna. The BSC network of scientists discovers, synthesizes, and freely shares knowledge about Canada’s biological diversity.

This web site describes the BSC and provides various resources for work on the Canadian fauna, including on-line publications and databases

Annual General Meeting
The first annual general meeting of the Biological Survey membership took place on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 in Winnipeg, MB. The first Board of Directors was elected. A report from the meeting can be found in the fall newsletter (see link above).
