The ACA Grants in Biodiversity Program, funded by the Alberta Conservation Association, provides research funds to outstanding graduate students and postdoctoral fellows doing research in Alberta. The mandate of the program is to increase knowledge of the flora and fauna of Alberta.

SYNOPSIS: Every time you buy a hunting or fishing Licence in Alberta, a significant portion of that Money goes to the Alberta Conservation Association. And the ACA in turns uses the money to fund research on conservation Issues. The ACA Grants in Biodiversity fund supports students who are studying plants and wildlife as part of their masters and PhD programs. Their findings on elk, wolves, birds, and grasslands, just to name just a few, are changing the way we manage for conservation values in this province.
