We offer both teaching and research assistantships for graduate students on a competitive basis. All students who are accepted into our graduate program receive financial support for a minimum of 3 years (M.Sc.) or 5 years (Ph.D.). Current rates are listed here.

Ph.D. applicants are also eligible for University of Alberta Ph.D. Scholarships that include a full stipend and fees for up to two years. Students holding NSERC scholarships currently receive a supplement for each year of the award from the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research.
